Mike Furnari was hired as HyreCar’s Director of Sales in May 2016. He currently oversees sales operations as the Chief Business Development Officer and has played an integral role in expanding the sales department and increasing gross merchandise sales on the platform. Mike participated in Seed, Series A, and Bridge fundraising rounds and is also the primary point of contact with fleet operators, Uber/Lyft, and other strategic external relationships.  

Prior to joining, Mr. Furnari was managing a small fleet of vehicles on the HyreCar platform before approaching the founders, in December 2015, to provide financing to the company. From July 2013 to April 2016, Mr. Furnari was a sales manager for the Hyatt Residence Group (HRG) Carmel Highlands, the highest volume property in the group’s portfolio.

He is a natural team builder and motivator, with experience in performance management through CRM software. Mr. Furnari holds an MBA with concentrations in Economics and Marketing from CSU Monterey Bay and has proven and results-oriented track record of exceeding organizational goals across diverse industries.
